Holds a University Degree in Agriculture and got specialized in Crop Protection in WAU (NL, 1992-94), Univ. of London (1996-2000; 2001-2004) and Univ. California (2000-1). Since 2005, he serves as the Head of the Department of Sustainable Agriculture (SA) in CIHEAM_MAICh (Chania, Greece). Maintains a competent group that participates in industry-, national- and EU-funded projects covering a wide spectrum of Sustainable Rural Development.
