The National SME Strategy 2019-2030 and it focuses on enhancing SME resilience, competitiveness, and reducing territorial disparities in line with the national S3 Strategy.
This proposal is in line with the framework of the National SME Strategy 2019-2030, aiming to bolster SME growth, competitiveness, and resilience in Hungary. Export capacity and potential are dependant not just on hard factors under the Pillar 1 of the Strategy, but also on the soft factors of skills and knowledge under Pillar 5.
Two distinct entrepreneur groups is crucial. The first group includes the self-employed and small family businesses that focus on stable, long-term operations for personal and family well-being. Priorities include developing entrepreneurial skills and financial awareness, promoting entrepreneurship as a route to success, even for groups disadvantaged in the workforce.
The other group consists of socially-owned companies engaged in market competition for profit, growth, and expansion. Their needs revolve around management and organizational development, leadership skills, digitalization and smart specialization competencies.
Circular economy principles enhance export capacity by promoting resource efficiency, reducing waste, and appealing to sustainability-focused markets worldwide. Integrating eco-friendly practices into production processes not only improves competitiveness and resilience but also fosters brand reputation and market access opportunities on a global scale.
